Wing Suit Flights with L-39 Fighter Jet
The Wild Child L-39 Fighter Jet came to Perris Valley Skydiving with the plan of researching into the idea of flying relative with wing suit flyers, 6 flights where made with Jon Devore, Eli Thompson and John Colclasure being group 1 and Mike Swanson, and Francisco Neri as group 2. Everybody on the ground at the DZ could see the wing suit flyers and the Jet flying relative to each other, although the best distance between them was of about 50 to a 100ft on average, but with only 3 jumps of experience with each group it was an excellent outcome. The flyers and the jet pilot where equipped with the in air communication system which made things much safer and easier to flight relative and in communication with each other, there was also a great photo by JC and great video from Cisco's camera showing the flights and how close the wing suit flyers and the Jet flying with each other.
