However more often than not when freeflyers arrive at the tunnel they are not joined by others, and have a hard time assimilating how to efficiently fly with the same body positions they would use while skydiving. By creating "FREEFLY FRIDAYS" The FMC is giving all who come on Fridays a way to learn freefly in the tunnel with FMC instructors on hand to give basic coaching tips and a solid reference to practice maneuvers, grip management and two way dynamics. The cost for "FREEFLY FRIDAYS" is the time each participant flies which is offered in 15 minute blocks, which can be shared by as many as two flyers to offset the cost. Participants of "FREEFLY FRIDAYS" also have the choice to engage in private 1 on 1 coaching with FTC instructors during these time periods that offer private pre-briefings, intensive in-tunnel coaching, and full video debriefing following the session.

Tunnel training has become an integral part of the relative work training regime, so much so that if your team is not training there then you are behind the power curve, this level of training in the tunnel is exactly what the FMC is promoting for freefly, citing the numerous benefits to each flyers learning curve and ability to accelerate past their current experience level. The tunnel has proven to be a very useful tool to the FMC by incorporating tunnel coaching prior their freefly skydiving coaching program which accelerates the level the flyer can reach by removing bad habits and reinforcing presentation and balance in the relative wind for an intensive 15 minute session which is the equivalent of almost 20 skydives, this amount of training is very cost effective, 1/6 the cost of conventional in air coaching for the same amount of air time.
